FRAUD ALERT: ArcteryxSaleOnline.com Is a SCAM

My very business is partially based on internet purchasing, so when I got SCAMMED at www.arcteryxsaleonline.com on a Arc Crossbow I was amused. Chase quickly took care of it and so it is behind me, but it gets me thinking.

FYI: SZ Warm Sun Business Co. Shenzhen is the billing culprit. The company, or some form of it, is legit.

The site looks all legit until you look at all the dead links, of course I had no reason to suspect anything until I realized my invoice had dead links as well. That was the case when I tried to click on order# for tracking.

The bogus program is a clone of the Google shop tracker that scrolls your most searched item(s).

I thought you should know.

I'd only buy arcteryx on sale from reputable online shops, it's rare but arcteryx is on sale from time to time, with the new gore pro lots of last year stuff showed up at STP for a good price... if you were lucky enough to find your size!

but other than that or evo, bc.com, moosejaw... I'd stay away!

I also can recommend gear co-op got some ski pants for the wife with 35% which is good for arcteryx!

but I'm with finndog, everyone should stay away from any store not listed in the brand website, no matter which brand!

i wonder if you'd been more pissed if you received the merchandise, but then it turned out to be knockoff material that started falling apart or not performing.
You wouldn't know you'd been scammed until on the mountain.   That'd be my bigger worry of not buying from an authorized site.

Chase just credited us back the amount, so no harm done.

I buy close-outs mostly, but I'm now on guard for the scammers.

Chase would disagree.
