Planing an Ski trip to North East [parent and first-time tween] - Page 2

Glad you had fun skiing in NC.  Your report was great!

I enjoyed your report with its perspective from southerner.  "Cold" being in the 20s (it was 15 below zero at Killington VT yesterday) and 6 inches of snow being something to avoid (that should get skiers excited and headed for the slopes).  Glad you had a good experience.

yes, i was born in a Caribbean island and consider myself a warm weather animal, 30's and 40's are the lowest i can live with, but to tell you the truth, since it was my first time going away just me and my daughter, safety was my main concern and being able to drive around without mayor incidents was a priority, not sure i would have adventured to drive in snowy or icy roads and was trying to avoid it at all cost, as a bonus, my daughter got to see snow falling for the first time in her life and got to taste it :-)

Glad you had an excellent trip! Hope it fuels the fire for more ski trips in the future. :)
