I picked up a pair of cheap race skis in my other wanted-to-buy thread (thanks Hoss). They didn't come with bindings, and the plate that's on them has a narrow heel hole pattern. I'm looking for a binding that'll fit them. I know the Rossi FKS/Look Pivot binding fits, but I have a hard time buying a $300 for a $40 pair of skis. Does anyone have any older bindings laying around with that hole pattern you're willing to sell?
WTB: Rossi fks/Look Pivot binding - or other binding with narrow heel pattern
Yeah, he straight-up told me he bought the ski for the binding. I took a chance on 'em anyway because for a race ski that's 6 or 7 years old, there was a ton of edge left (the previous owner must have never sharpened 'em) and the bases were in great shape. I don't know enough about bindings to know whether to worry too much about it, but for $40 for the kind of shape the skis were in, I figured I'd take a chance. A tuner I know who looked at the skis said he'd have no problem putting the $ into a binding for them.
