Longwood Gardens at Christmas

Longwood Gardens is one of the great gems of American Horticulture, we visit each year for the spectacular holiday lighting and displays. LG was founded by Pierre DuPont and is located 20 miles south of Philly. The pics are from my friend Jeff Wolfrom. *

Enjoy and best Holiday wishes to all!*

The yellow and red display is composed of apples floating in water

Longwood Gardens is very cool.  It has been a really long time sense I was last there.

Grew up near there. One of the few things I miss.

I live less than 30mins away and am my only family member who hasn't been. Need to fix that!

Thank you for bringing back that memory!  When the girls were young we would take them to Longwood Gardens once in the spring for the flowers and once in the late fall for the lights.  Very lovely place.  Now we take winter trips for skiing, can't do that at LG.

Nice!

Went once and really enjoyed it. Too bad the traffic around there is bad, makes it seems kind of far away than it really is. Thanks for reminding me to go again (wwhen not too busy skiing, that is)
