Are new skis making metatarsalagia flare again?

I got diagnosed with metatarsalagia about 8 years ago. I had to stop snowboarding and went back to skiing about 5 years ago to get better support to quit crying on the hill from the foot burn. I shucked out some bucks for some sweet Technicas to accommodate my wide calf and foot with custom footbeds. I was doing swell without pain up until this season  when I changed up my skis as well. I was riding K2 True Luvs and now use K2 MissBehaves. Could my more agro stance and more fun runs be causing my feet to start on fire and cry again? Should I make an appointment with Larry to get a new fit? This crying business is embarrassing.

could be the ski set up, could be the calf muscle is pushing you forward and loading up the met heads, maybe not a new fit but perhaps a bit of adjustment

go get it checked out it is probably a really simple fix required
