Who's ready to jump on a plane to Whitefish?

I mean, holy sh*t!

The conditions there look insane. 24HR15"  OVERNIGHT8"  BASE72"  CONDITIONSPowder

Snow predicted tonight, and through the week. Mountain is 100% open. No one in NA comes close at the moment.

UT and CO look to be skiing fine, but this is craziness.

Wish I was there. :-(

Yesterday was great, though.

Wolf Creek, Targhee, Fernie and Whitewater have had more snow this season.  But relative to normal Whitefish might be #1.  Whitefish snowfall (season to date 115 inches ) may be understated because they don't start counting as early as most places.

Oh boy, that info has me trying to convince the family to spend Christmas in the camper in Whitefish!

A 9" base at our home mountain of Hoodoo with no snow in the forecast :(

Just read the rogue weather forecast for the Cascades... Hate to say it, but it's looking like our year to travel or just not ski much.

OK, Bend to Whitefish….we figure we can drive our truck-camper there in a day….open presents, charge the kids devices and jet northward to the snow.

That video is dangerous to PNW'ers!

Unfortunately for me, I've been called to Denver to deal with a family emergency while all that powder's coming down back home! :'(
