Gloves or Mittens with thumbs that can be uncovered for typing on touchscreens?

I know that there are mittens where you can uncovered your four fingers while leaving the thumb covered. To me this is nonsensical because everyone types on touchscreens and controls their phones with their thumbs.

I also don't like the leather "touch-enabled" gloves because they are way too dumb in the thumb to type with any kind of accuracy.

I'd like a glove or a mitten that can just totally expose the thumb for maximum dexterity while typing.

I prefer to be as off the grid as possible while skiing.  I can play with my gadgets enough at work.  When I ski the phone is turned off unless there is some emergency requiring me to call ski patrol or loved ones.  In that event I will do so from the side of the trail and leave my gloves in my pocket or on the pole handles.

Well, I can't have that luxury of being off grid.

you want to google "fingerless gloves with thumb flap"

Then you have your pick of the litter of hipster hobo gloves.

Thanks! I got myself one of these:

I couldn't find any ski gloves, but these should work. The other ones with thumb flaps all seem to be 100% fleece, so lacking in the windproof and water resistance department.
