problem when quite cold out, my bottle does freeze

any suggestions to prevent it from freezing?

Heat it at home, wrap it in a thick sock, and store it in your belt upside down.

I use an envelope from Vapur to hold water.  This is a very handy container, soft and not bulky.

The  envelope slips into the mesh pocket inside of my jacket and stays warm there.  Coldest I go out in is about -5 F and never had a problem.

Good luck.
