They have more bad crashes on those as they are narrow, steeper than most anything near the metro, and take an ability level that most don't have to safely ski them. Anytime they are open, and the weather is nice, the ambulances are at Welch. That's because people are skiing terrain beyond the ability, and you here them say, oh I ski Bak, or Dan's Dive, then they are head into the trees and it's over on the back side.
Skiers think of their skiing ability like mom's think of their babies. They are never as good, or as cute as they think they are.
I guess, although I can get in a lot more trouble on the other hills. I think it is great that they are continuing to build, but really didn't get much of a thrill from the short little runs that they put back there. I would imagine a lot of the accidents are right at the bottom where there isn't a lot of room to get stopped or turned towards the lift.
