More like the opposite. The alpine has seen a lot of wind, and reverse loading (which is why they canceled the FWT) Tons of rocks in the alpine and things that are usually filled in are not. ( i could see someone from CO thinking it's good, I also haven't been up high in a week and the bulletin says 80cm new so maybe it's healed some)
The lower elevations seem to be ahead of schedule. RMR is open top to bottom with good coverage down to the day lodge. Big White opened it's lowest chair up and coverage is above average at the bottom, but the alpine chairs are a few storms away.
The telemetry says the interior is average to below average for the most part. Pretty sure the base was over 100in this time last year.
Not much skiing anywhere below 4k around here any season. But yeah that's about where you would want to get onto a trail or something manicured by man.
