Flex Adjustment Lange WC

We want to play with the flex on my wife's World Cups.  There are two bolts on the spine.  Does it matter which one you remove to make the boot less stiff?

Thank you.

What size boot?

height and weight?

skiing ability?

can she flex the boot (standing on one foot) when not on skis?

if you take out the top bolt ---- about 5% softer

If you take out both bolts the boot should be about 10 to 15% softer

but it will loose the rebound it has when the bolts are in, (rebound is a good thing)

The boot is a 23 and she is 5'1", 115 lbs.

The fitter did cut some of the shell.

She can flex them on one foot.

This is not here first pair of WCs.

I forget the cuff designation, but they are the softer flex.

If she can flex the boots on one foot, I would wonder why she can't flex them under G loads out on the hill.  could be a fore/aft, off center position problem.

Does she get tired quads?

do her toes get crammed?

large Calves?

slim calves?

Larger calves.

I need to flatten the tinge a bit so it dies not dig in to her leg. I think this is causing her to back off her shins.

i guess that was typed from a phone and you need to flatten the tongue!

if you flare the cuff back then she can stand more central and use the ROM to flex the boot rather than be hanging in the front of it and not have any motion left to flex

Yes my phone typing is not great, sorry.

Just what do you mean by flare the cuff?

Thanks.

Read through the above article and pics to see how to flair a boot, some shops are set up to do this.
