Have not used a backpack before for skiing, but wanted to try a relatively small one for resort lift-served skiing.  Down to BCA Stash OB  and Osprey Karve 16.  Older models at clear-out prices, so worth a shot.  I have read some comments/reviews on both, but looking for a direct comparison.  Primary concern with the Karve 16 is the extra length of the many straps and the possibility of getting one of those caught while getting off a lift.  Is the Stash OB any better in this regard?  The older model Stash OB also has a 2L reservoir built-in.  Is this a good set-up, or is it prone to leaks?

Thanks for any help from those with experience with these packs.
