Knee braces?

Thread Starter

I usually ski wearing knee braces on both  of my 65 year old knees.  I've only hurt  a knee once before.  What say ye?  Are there any good brands of braces  above the common ones with metal  side  hinges found in drug stores?  Are any of you orthopedic experts with good recommendations?

I've been thinking about this a bit lately.

I'm really interested in the DonJoy knee brace that I've seen advertised here on EpicSki.   Of course, now that I'm interested in one, I'm not seeing the ad to click on and I can't remember what the ad said about the type of knee brace that intrigued me.

Have you looked around in the "Fitness, Injury" section?  There are several threads about knee braces, most commonly related to ACL injuries.
