Ive just gotten into freestyle skiing and i don't know what a good flex rating for a boot is please help.

depends on how big you are, how much you weigh, how long your shin is, how well you ski, how much your ankle can move in the first place, and what events you are in.

80-120 range..

Buying a boot by flex rating is just plain wrong period.  There is no standardization that lets the numbers be compared from boot to boot let alone between manufacturers.  You have to chose based on feel when your foot is in the boot.
