Steamboat is off the hook

Conditions are pretty incredible especially given its the 1st week in december,  Still skiing areas of untracked boot high, groomers are in incredible condition,  Not one brown spot or ice patch.   They are opening up terrain that is usually not open till much later in the month,  I am being very careful in trees but so far, the coverage is excellent.  Skied 3 o'clock trees today virtually untracked and even 3 O'clock lower was barely touched at 11 am.  Crazy good and empty

yeah, been watching and hoping to talk some buds in a road trip.  Understand it's near "average" but given last few years, a welcome relief.

Noted too, the opening of Storm Peak express, is a week or so earlier than usual and can only figure with the 12-14 last few days, very nice.

ah .. if only others could be talked into a nice road trip!

ski well Finn .. safe knees to you!

protests got mounted up yesterday in anticipation of the next cycle coming through today and Sunday.  Thumbs Up

just a note, its early folks and although the skiing is really good, we still need a lot more to really cover up everything, ski safe
