Use uta for resorts

Is it possible to only use uta to get to places like powder mtn as a daytrip from downtown salt lake city. If so what trains do i use.

It is possible, not sure how long it'd take. You can take the Front Runner train from SLC to Ogden. From the Ogden Transit Center, there are separate buses to Snowbasin and Powder. They don't run that often, but there are a few different times in the morning and one in early afternoon (for Powder, at least). 


Take a look at the "Riding UTA"/ "Ski Service" / "Weber County" section of Then the FrontRunner here: 


It looks like the ski buses don't start until just before Christmas.

Possible, but you'll die of old age before you get back.
