Is there a Canadian town like SLC/Park City or Tahoe that allows one to ski lots of different resorts?

I'm considering doing a trip to Canada, and I was wondering if there are any towns that have lots of resorts within a relatively short drive?

I love the flexibility/optionality of Utah and Tahoe.

I skied Whistler/Blackcombe in 1992 or so, and I realize that that place is pretty hard to get tired of/fully experience in 4 or 5 days.

Banff has 3 resorts within a short distance.  Banff is about 1 1/2 west of Calgary.

Yeah, if you stay in Banff, you can drive to Lake Louise in about 30-45 mins depending on conditions.  Mount Norquay and Sunshine are minutes away from Banff and Nakiska is about 30-45 mins away.  If you want to stretch it, you can drive a couple of hours west of Banff and do Kicking Horse.  Next on the road is Revelstoke, about another hours west of Kicking Horse.  Banff is your typical touristy ski town with all the good and bad that entails, be warned!  :-)

Lake Louise is the best skier's mountain...Sunshine is a neat above-treeline kind of experience but spread out and broken up.  Norquay is literally across the highway from Banff and is still a challenging hill.  Nakiska was built up for the Olympics in 1988 and has been improved recently with a high-speed summit lift that makes it a bit more complete.

Definitely Banff.  The Big 3 are right there.....Norquay, Sunshine, Lake Louise.  Kicking Horse is within reasonable driving distance past LL. Panorama if you wanna drive west. Lots within a short drive, even more if you don't mind driving a couple hours. Plenty to keep you busy for a week no problem.  You can do a different resort every day of the week if you're ambitious.  Otherwise, park yourself in Banff and stick with NQ, SV, LL right there.

Thanks, appreciated. That's what I'm looking for.
