Where are you off to this season and what is your favorite resort from the below?

Of those listed, I have only skied Chamonix, Val d'Isere and Aspen.  I liked all 3 a lot but never stayed overnight or did any apre-ski in Val.

As this tends to be a US dominated site, you would probably get more feedback from people who have skied a greater % of those resorts on a site like Snowheads.

This year, in addition to instructing at Copper Mountain and Vail, I plan to ski a number of other Colorado resorts including Steamboat, Monarch, Loveland, A-Basin, Beaver Creek, Crested Butte, Teluride, and Aspen.  I have already skied Keystone and Breckenridge.

At the least, given there is only one American resort on there, the thread should be in the International forum.

For me, St. Anton just edges out Val d'Isere. I like Val d'Isere a lot, but St. Anton has a shorter and more comfortable (if you take the train) transfer, I like the town a bit more, and the crowd is more diverse.

At my advanced age I no longer search out the  steep and gnarly stuff all the time and can pick my time as I am retired so Arraba is my favourite. Cruising the Sella Ronde on a day I wanted to take in easy and up the Marmolada for a tougher test.

When I had to ski early and late in the season and had better knees it was Val Thorens for the snow sure conditions and great runs. The black on the Cime de Caron being a favourite but also skiing over to Courcheval for lunch at the Bel Air is a good day out.
