Fischer Maven reviews?

I'm looking to pull the trigger on a pair of last year's Fischer Mavens (apparently discontinued for this year), but there seems to be very little feedback from owners anywhere on the internet. Has anyone here spent some time on them, even if it was just a few laps at a demo day?

No responses is about what I expected. I think this ski was a flop, commercially.

With no information, no reviews..IMHO..lousy graphics..why are you looking to buy them? :confused

I'm looking for a good all-arounder, I really like Fischers, and I actually like the graphics.

Lively, soft but progressive flex (it doesn't just flop down when loaded).   Edge feel comparable to the Cham87, except without the front bias.     If you liked the old Elan Pogo Stick, you'll like this.     Can be skied long, even for lower level skiers (L6ish).

Thanks for the input. I think I'll definitely grab a pair now.

It's a park and pipe ski

Is this what you really want ?

Or is the price amazing as in next to nothing

What little information I've found suggests that it is equally at home on the rest of the mountain as it is in the park. I can't justify having a dedicated park ski, but I think this one will give me the option.

It could make an OK bump ski, especially if you're the slam-and-absorb type.
