totally! I think you would agree that most people buy All mountain ski's for softer snow bias and not harder snow bias "all mountain conditions"

No, I think that All Mountain to most people means all of THEIR mountain, wherever it may be. Which is why the term is pretty meaningless and in almost every product description.

I doubt you will find many 95-105 all mountain ski's as OQS in the NE or mid altantic/west......

It's human nature that makes people buy skis for the snow they want to be skiing, instead of what they most likely will actually be skiing.

For me, it's traveling/packing issues.  I'm lazy.  I want to bring one perfect pair.  I haven't found that ski ... yet, but my Auras are close.
