Verbier, Nendaz, 4 Valleys Switzerland

I've spent a couple of seasons in Nendaz, the 'poor relation' to Verbier - only because it's cheaper than Verbier.  But you get to ski all the same great terrain, and arguably more because you ski Nendaz, Veysonnaz and a bunch of other stuff that the "Verbs" crowd don't bother with.  I'll be working there this year and just got this report from my colleagues:

If you find yourself in Nendaz, come check out our store and we can go for some turns together.  I'll be running their ski conditions blog so who knows, you could be a ski model for the day.  Let's hope the snow keeps falling!

Happy winter everyone!

Well, I'm here now for the season.  Nendaz / Tracouet isn't open yet, but if you can get to Siviez you can take the Tortin & Chassoure lifts to the Verbier sides.  They're not fully open (Mt Gele, Jumbo, Mt Fort are not open during the week).  Had a chance to ski last Sunday and am hoping to go again tomorrow:

Here are a few photos from Sunday:
