How Much Shim is Enough?

How, much shim makes sense for a fat ski. I hear the new rainey Hammerhead will come standard with 25 mm!!! Is the trend continuing to go taller and taller?

I've been using superloops with 20mm on Launchers.

I only go below 30mm when I have nothing bigger. My Linkens are 36mm.

30mm is enough. 36mm is good. 55mm was too much. For me that is, others might disaggree

I like more for carving on groomers -- maybe 30mm, but for crud/pow/bumps, 15mm is ideal for me.
