Salomon X Pro 100: Boost Flex?

Hello,

I am a new owner of the Salomon X Pro 100 ski boots and have a quick question for anyone that may be able to help.

There seems to be a flex adjustment feature on the spine of the boot which is called "Boost Flex". There are two settings: Sport or Performance. The boot is shipped in the Sport setting.

Does anyone here know what the difference is between the two settings? It is not mentioned in the booklet that came with the boots.

Thanks for any assistance!

Dave.

In the performance position the boot is said to be a 100 flex by Salomon----Buuuuutttt what one guy calls 100 flex may not be equal to the other guy.  The boot should soften by about 10% in the sport mode.
