Still going strong here I see.

If you really want a lane just race.  Ever think about snowboarding?

Have we analyzed this one yet?  I'll start....even though POV guy is slowly turning to the right, he looks uphill just in time to see skier girl crash into him.  Skier is at fault.

Yep. I'd go with that.

Snow boarders don't have eyes on the back of their heads, which can be a real problem when those newer to the sport decide to turn across the hill.  Deer Valley limits skiers at peak times, so you don't get the WROD skiing like in the video above.  Even while at Heavenly, my kids and I prefer anything off the main trails (and there is a lot of that) just to avoid crazy people.

Thanks for the info on Taos, I haven't ever considered going there ever since they didn't allow snowboards. And that comment was meant with extreme sarcasm, just to get some more jokes going, I know all about the snowboard blindside.

You have to take your shirt off to throw down properly.

2 skier dudes sto in the middle of a narrow fast moving wrod. And they take up most of the center so why aren't they guilty?

That skier dad video is both funny, embarrassing and sad all at the same time. Makes snowboarders look like the punks they try to be and then give us all a bad name. But if I ski and snowboard does that make me a bi-boarder?

You need to ride a split board to be a bi-boarder!

That's true, I'll have to pick up a split board someday and try it out. Is there such a thing as a telemark split board?

Woody Allen says being bi doubles your chances for a date on a Saturday night.

Could they just adding "don't be dumb"? I do not think any code could cover all the situations that can happen.

Techchick , I see someone got a yellow bar on their post count, what does this mean, anything? Is it that they got lots of good feed back?
I am kind of new this season and I have seen this before.

Ewok, I know lots of boarder that have respect for others, are careful and like most of us are a part of the community of mountain people.
A number of the people I go with do both, I have a snowboard set up, not the best one, but I may upgrade some time.

Unfortunately I see the same punk mentality with wakeboarders on the lake. They try to act "gangsta" in their parents $80k wakeboard boats boats, getting to close to other boats, fisherman, and docks and shorelines, blasting hardcore music and they have no idea the rules of maritime navigation. It gives the rest of us with wakeboard boats a bad name, you get cut off at boat launch lines by fishermen because they are trying to get back at the punks who buzz them with huge wakes. It also gives wakeboard boats extra attention from the water cops too. And all the rules and jail time do little to discourage this behavior, by the time the current crop of punks have grown up or gone to jail, there is a new generation to take their place. I think it takes parents to teach their kids the right common sense rules to follow and give them consequences early on in their lives so they don't turn out to be punks on snow or lakes.

We know it takes parents, or at least a good mentor!   Wise words in red!   Fantastic!

When people come out in my boat I tell them the rules, and I tell them if they play games like you said, it will be their last trip with me. I do both wake board and water ski, and we drive the boat as to give a good pull, no horse play. The worse ones are the jet skiers, we call them yellow jackets as they buzz the boat.
I like doing the compitition water skiing in a course around the balls.

Unfortunately I see just as many mature educated adults (?) acting like a dumb ass behind the wheel. Had a guy in a Honda Civic try and force me (95 ft. doubles) off the road at a merge yesterday. He decided to yield when he drove into the ditch. Play nice, you get a lot more consideration.

Time for Mr. Rogers.

Recently saw the documentary  "Mr Rogers and Me". In it is a clip from 1969 where he testifies before Congress for funding for PBS. This one here is longer and he goes through the song he wrote :

"What do you do with the Mad that you feel?"

"...I can stop, stop, stop, anytime.."

Trailer for "Mr. Rogers and Me" 2010, premiered  on PBS 2012

Well worth watching. Now free on Amazon Prime.
