Experience 98, 2012

I have a pair of 180 cm E98's with Look Pivot 14 bindings mounted for 328BSL. The bindings are cosmetically dinged up (from old skis) but work well (one of the brakes is a little bent). The tops have cosmetic dings as well (tips pictured). The bases have mostly minor scrapes but one core shot that was professionally repaired but requires touch up occasionally. Looking for $400 plus shipping with the bindings, $300 without the bindings. Pictures don't show the bases well, but pm me if you want pics or have questions.

Bump for price reduction.

$350 plus shipping with bindings, $250 without.

Thanks for looking...

seems a bit much for a 98 with core shot. do you happen to have a picture of the core shot?

Here is a picture of the core shot with a nickel for reference. It doesn't affect the ski performance, at least in a way that I notice. As mentioned above, the core shot was professionally repaired. The repair has remained intact although it does wear more quickly than the original base, so I touch it up when tuning. Most of the time I tune by hand. When I have them tuned at the shop they do the touch ups as part of the tune.

As for the price, you have a point - no one has taken them off my hands yet. That is the ultimate test of whether they are priced right or not. The pro price for a new pair is $500, and most of the skis that I see on ebay are listed over $550, and there was a pair that just went for $308 plus shipping from a seller with a 90% rating. So, I'm not giving up hope yet but am willing to entertain offers. The worst that can happen is that I say 'no' and list them on eBay.

Thanks for the enquiry.

Price reduction to $220 for the skis only (no bindings). I'll include shipping to CONUS. I'm basing the price on a worst case scenario (shipping from Mass to the west coast). If you are closer it will be a little cheaper. Let me know if you are interested - otherwise they are off to eBay.

Thanks
