So how many of you who ski backcountry do so mainly to get away from the crowds, and the rules/regs/ legal stuff that go with crowds, at the ski resorts? Do most of you who ski backcountry also regularly ski the resorts?

I ski both, but I don't go to the bc so much to escape the resorts as I do to find the things unique to the bc. I won't try to describe what is in the bc since I don't think I can do it justice, but those who spend time there know that it is a magical place.

The great thing about bc, is to find untouched snow. What I like the best is to find nice spots and use the terrain to do airs. The best bigjumps/gaps/funboxes is to find way out there, allready made by mother nature.
