"The Last Go Round", Ken Kizzie (ya that guy). Ken Kesey. One of my favorite books and someone stole it.
The Hakawati by Rabih Alameddine. A story about a storyteller told through numerous stories.
Some Horses and The Bushwacked Piano both by Tom McGuane. The first is a collection of essays about horses he's owned and the second is a truly wacky but brilliant novel.
First You Have to Row a Little Boat by Richard Bode. Interesting and well written reflections on life.
Standing in a River Waving a Stick by John Gierach. If you don't flyfish you may not find it funny.
