Polartec PowerShield vs Schoeller Dynamic in a softshell?

Thread Starter
Hi all:

Does anyone have any strong opinions on which material makes for the most comfortable/versatile softshell?

I see that Arc'Teryx uses Polartec Power Shield in their Gamma SV softshell, while Cloudveil uses Schoeller Dynamic Extreme in their Serendipity softshell?

What are the differences? Advantages? Conditions each is optimized for?

Thanks for any insights.

Too, go to www.backcountrymagazine.com. Look under Soft shell fundamentals. Arcteryx uses Schoeller also.
