Recovery

What are some of the ways you all recover from a long 7-8 ski day and get ready to do it all over again the next day?  What physical and nutritional tips would you have?

I'm in good shape but often find I'm too sore or fatigued to go 2 days in a row, and would love some advice.

Being totally out of shape, I just ski five days a week, usually a break after two or three days, gradually skiing longer days as the season gets going. By mid season I'm only stopping because the day is over. I'm sure if I were younger and in better shape, it would happen sooner, but as the season draws to a close I can ski seven in a row for the last week if I want to. I have a friend who spends all summer "bagging peaks" in Glacier who works up to that level MUCH sooner. :-)

Scotch or Cognac.

If you carry the recovery too far, Ceasars for breakfast to recover from the recovery.:D
