I bought a toy truck this summer and now I'm trying to get tires figured out. The truck is lifted and currently has over sized Goodyear M+S tires (snowflake logo). Actually believe they are the same ones that NayBreak posted a pic of in post #282.
I'm highly skeptical of their snow performance, based on my experience driving on wet roads. The tires spin under mild acceleration. Perhaps I'm just over sensitive since I'm use to driving an Audi that I have to dump the clutch to get any noise from the tires.
Maybe some sand bags in the back are all I need, but I am pretty sure I am going to get dedicated winters for it. It's a 16in rim and the tires are quite a bit larger than stock, so was thinking about downsizing a bit. I want the best performance, Currently they are 285/75/16 and they fit the truck well.
I do need winters for the Audi this year too, so If I don't need to buy tires for the truck that would be great. I plan on using the truck in the winter to haul my sled around. So it needs to be capable.
