Just doing some research -- anyone know of a used super small Magic Carpet about the size of the one used at KinderHut in Breckenridge? ...And roughly the price range? I have looked on SAM, Knapp, and the Boneyard.

I did a little surfing and found a used tubing lift for $18K. Carpets are more expensive.

I'd love to have a mountainside cabin with a rope tow supporting about 300 vert.  All you need to run the loop is an old truck, a bunch of wheel hubs with rims, and a bunch of small telephone poles right?

The guy who created what has become Boyne USA started by developing a portable rope tow he and friends from Detroit used to go skiing in Northern Michigan.

His father was a Studebaker dealer. Don't know if he actually was an owner, but he used a new Studebaker to attract Stein to Northern Michigan to be his ski school director after Stein won gold.
