Can't seem to get edges sharp - help! - Page 2

I will concur with the problem of roller guides. It is a pain, but that's what I've already invested in. I brush between passes and base tape is on the Christmas list. The metal filings from sharpening, which I can see, don't bother me as much as the fact that there may be metal dust which I'm not seeing. Currently running a rag down after each pass, but hoping the base tape will allow me to spend less time at that.

Christmas list steadily lengthening and just forwarded the RaceWax discount code for their sale to the family. One day only.

Racewax.com 20% off is today and also again on Black Friday.  I just ordered some things and they've shipped already.

Guess I'll start by planing the sidewall on the skis.

are you sure the lid is closed though? - it seems to be important... maybe check that first :beercheer:
