yeah, the Cooper S makes driving a standard, non-turbo cooper feel slow, no offense intended! With 220hp it's difficult to put the power to the ground, thinking possible LSD! That car also loves to play around with letting the rear end slip a little under heavy braking and corner entry with Stability control turned off!
I'll agree on the Veyron. It's fast, but too boring for my liking. 4 Wheel drive and refined turbocharged smoothness.
Anyone driven a Toyota GT-86? Or Subaru BRZ? You might call the Toyota something else in North America. Those cars are so so much fun to drive down a road briskly. So low, light and you feel everything the car is up to, it can drift so easily in wet conditions, and feels perfectly controlled when you let the tail go at 80-90 on a wet road. Not the fastest cars out there, but for driving pleasure, pretty good!
Anyone else get a certain pleasure out a car that scares you a little? Friend's 400hp Evo 8 almost bends your mind with how fast you can take corners with power on. Corners that were a little borderline at 60mph now become perfectly easy at 80mph and accelerating. A little scary.
330i E46 is a nice car. Refined. The E46 M3 is a little nuts, but refined when you want to drive like a respectable citizen and you can even pick up your girlfriend in it!
