Please help with playfulness research

Thread Starter

Hi,

At the unit "Personality and Assessment" at the University of Zurich, we are interested in how people differ in their perception of specific personality traits. We are especially interested in what people think about playfulness in adults. You will be asked to rate your thoughts about "playfulness" and provide some demographic information - anonymity is, however, fully secured. Data will only be used for scientific purposes and won't be shared with others.

The whole survey won't take longer than 5-10 minutes. Thank you for your help and contribution to our study. If you have any questions about the study please contact Haley Pruitt at jhpruitt@fortlewis.edu or Lisa Wagner at l.wagner@psychologie.uzh.ch

Here is the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/playfulness_semantics

Kind regards,

Haley

More for the homework forum. We were written up in some educational newsletter or something? At least now we are expanding to a new continent.

How about a rule that autodeletes any new thread that links to surveymonkey. And delivers a virtual nad-punch to the submitter.

I'd rather a royalty program. They pay a fee to Epic, which gets distributed to us.

There is no playfulness on this forum. Try TGR. (OK I make an exception for Trekchick)

jhpruitt, I think your request might be better received if you introduced yourself and talked about why you wanted to connect with the skiing community here...

What's wrong with Epic members being asked questions by folks in school?

Metaphor's suggestion is a good one.  I hope Haley follows through.

What's wrong with people questioning why one-and-done posters feel the need to do their research here, particularly when it has nothing to do with, you know, skiing?

If doing surveys on sports and such for an "adult crowd (?)", Epic would not be a bad survey group.

We are pretty diverse, some disposable income, and normally don't flame people too badly.

It does get kind of old though.  At least J.D. Powers sends a dollar.

Along with background, it would be nice to be convinced our e-mail addresses won't be added to more spammer lists.

They don't ask for an email address, so no real need to assure you of not sharing what they don't have. I thought it was an interesting set of questions which i didn't mind answering at all. Personally, I'd like to see a follow-up post with the findings of these surveys. If you ask for our help at least humor us with your results.

I agree with Whiteroom.

LOL @ trying to assign so many dimensions to "playfulness".  I played along but really believe you are over-thinking this.

Double post.  Maybe I inadvertently hit a spammed link at some point.

Well, since you hit the link they may already have from you what they wanted.
