Fritischi diamir pro bindings

Ok I'm hoping to get a little feedback in terms of quality impression etc. I'm contemplating putting this binding on a bodacious. What are your thoughts. How. Do you like that binding? I typically ski markers but I've been lured by this beauty. Thanks

I'm not a huge fan of how Fritichi's ski. If you ski resorts most time, I'd look at some of the alternatives.

But they tour better than many of the alternative frame bindings, so if your touring half the time, they might be fine.

If your touring much more than that, then definitely get Tech bindings.  But then you're talking new boots too.

I ski Fritichis and while I like them they do develop some slop in the heel and there is no way I can see to fix it.  I have asked at some ski shops and it seems its just something you live with.  I am fine with it but am not a hugely technical skier so my sloppy technique works with the wiggly heel.

If you decide to go this route, I've got a set with 120mm brakes if you're interested.  I didn't like skiing them inbounds, but ymmv.  They probably work just fine for most people in softish conditions.

What SHREADHEAD said times eleventy billion.

My route to AT bliss was Fritsch Freerude+ -> Marker Duke -> Dynafit/tech. Took five years to find the light (or lite) but got there in the end.

Thanks all I've got my mind made up in the marker duke or Baron. I think...

If you are not touring they will be perfectly fine bindings.

I will probably be more suited for the marker duke as I will ski 70-80 inbounds and 30% side country

Higher percentage inbounds, Duke; the more out of bounds, Tour 12 if you must have a frame binding, otherwise look at tech.  FWIW, I skiied the whole of our southern hemishpere season on tech bindings (inbounds and out of bounds) and didnt touch my alpine only gear once.  My two pairs of Dukes are also history, sold off to people who havent yet seen the lite.
