Head ski "structure" question

Hi,

I just bought a pair of 2012 iPeak 78 Pro FLR SW skis to replace (or complement, we'll see how I'll like them here in Québec) my 2007 iXRC1200

Just out of curiosity, I wonder what the structural differences are between these 2 skis.

Both have Liquidmetal, are Sandwich construction and have Railflex bindings (though not exactly the same).

The iPeak has de FLR elastomer things in the tip, iXRC mentions WorldCup Sandwich.

I saw that both skis have an F-index indicated on the tail, where the iPeak has a higher number than the XRC.  Anybody know what this means ?

My girlfriend is on first generation Supershape Magnums and I didn't find the number on her skis.

I'm interested to know how what the different layers are in the 2 skis (iPeak 78 Pro vs. iXRC1200).

I know both have metal layers, but how many and do they have the same thickness (for example: in Fischers progressor line I think some models have thicker layers of metal in them).

Finally: how would the structure of the iPeak 78 Pro compare to today's REV Pro's (I know they don't have the same geometry) ?.

Just trying to develop my ski knowledge....

Thx
