Marker "Lord" vs Salomon "STH WTR 16"

Does anyone here have any experience with the Marker "Lord" and/or Salomon "STH WTR 16"?  These appear to be the 2 options for people wanting to use their rocker soled AT boots as their go-to boot for resort skiing with traditional alpine binding setups (these both accommodate the taller toe height).  I'm in that boat and needing to decide between those two, and am not seeing a lot of actual use/durability info out there.  I was leaning towards the Marker simply because I've always had great luck with Marker bindings (and no previous ownership experience with Salomon) but after looking at a pair yesterday, I'm not that thrilled with the manner in which they accomplish the toe height adjustment.   Any feedback out there?

There is a difference between WTR "walk to ride" and what Marker is doing with The Lord. The Lord with it's ability to adjust the height and sliding AFD is claiming th at it can torque an AT boot properly. The Sth2's WTR while can accommodate an AT boot in height cannot torque properly. WTR IS NOT an AT boot but more what you see from a Lange, K2 or Salomon vibram sole but you will see a smooth section for release.

Thanks for the feedback.   Knowing that, I'm probably back in the Marker camp.

Phil, its nice to see a cross over binding like the Lord SP only i'm not a fan of the Marker royal family style toe piece. Do you know whether or not the Dalbello Sherpa AT boots, with two harder compound pillars per, between the vibram lugs of the sole, will release reliably from a Sth2 WTR?

I can't say for sure but all things being equal, I have a good amount of confidence in what Salomon is doing with the new bindings.
