season pass decision, Epic local pass $479, Tahoe Super Pass for $579, or Mammoth pass for $799

I have a whole winter to spend driving back and forth from skiing in the mountains to the coast to go kite surfing around the Santa Cruz to Pismo Beach area.  I like skiing steep and deep powder runs the most but on non powder days I enjoy moguls and steeps.  My question is should I pick Kirkwood, Heavenly, Northstar, for greater quantities of drier powder, or Squaw, Alpine, Sierra at Tahoe, for more diverse terrain, or pay more for a pass to Mammoth to get both.  I would be making the drive to the coast probably once a week.  It is two extra hours to Mammoth over lake tahoe.  Thanks for any suggestions.

Pick up a Squaw Gold pass and you get 1/2 price tickets at Mammoth

Or an MVP premium pass at Mammoth and get 1/2 price tickets to Squaw/Alpine

It's a long haul in the winter as all mountain passes close to mammoth making the drive considerably longer from Santa Cruz/Pismo

You may be able to kite surf on lake tahoe, never tried it though

There are some creative economical ways to have all of the resorts you desire, but maybe not all of the resorts all of the time.
The Tahoe Local pass is hard to pass up for $479 for 3 resorts.
and/or
You might consider an unlimited Sierra at Tahoe pass (currently $389) which also gives you early and late season Squaw and Alpine along with a few January days AND 3 days each at all of the Powder Alliance resorts (there are a couple resorts I'm not familiar with, China Peak and Mountain High, that might be a closer commute to/from coastal kite surfing.)
and/or
Another option is a Mountain Collective pass for $379 to get 2 days each at Squaw/Alpine and Mammoth (plus Alta/Snowbird, Jackson Hole, Aspen, Whistler/Blackcomb if you take any trips) and 50% off for extra days.
and/or
Pick up a June Mountain pass next Saturday for $310 ($399 after that) and also get late season Mammoth (after 4/21) included.

BTW - I'm trying out the combination of the first three I mentioned and am considering adding a June Mountain pass. (This will still cost me much less than what i had last year - Full Epic, Mammoth MVP, and 6-day Sierra.)

Good luck on deciding and let it snow.
