Hi all - To my surprise, just bought a new unmounted pair of 2006 Goats. For a song. The last all black ones. Have owned the first year's, and the gold ones from 2008 I think, but curious about these. They seem to have the older sidecut (29 something radius, 124 at tail), cannot recall if they have the upgraded sidewalls or still the wood ones, and whether they have the tough box innards with carbon or are straight wood. I think they are still fairly soft at this point, but maybe 15% above 2004's? Couple of Epic reviews, Josh owned a pair, but nothing on construction. Google not much help here. Anyone a Goat aficionado to help?

Well, in response to the crush of responses, I emailed Volkl, now know that my dims were close but not perfect (tail is 125), yep, radius is 29.7, and yep, sensor wood and "power" (eg, torsion box) construction, apparently no carbon. Also found out that Volkl has stayed with a torsion box for all its racing models since 629 B.C., and all its freeskiing models since 2004. Kinda cool for a company to stick with a proven technology. (Not to mention cost effective.)
