I was concerned about going to a 79mm in the 8000 for the east coast skiing I do. Unless I heard some really great review about edge to edge quickness, carving, edge grip etc.. Still leaning an probably pulling the trigger on last years intuitive 74.
I think you will be surprised by the 4800, as I felt it had way more balls than the Int 74. I expect that you will here exactly what you want to here in regards to edge hold, quicknes etc. The Legend series delivers a whole new sidecut demension when you consider that these skis are 75mm - 89mm underfoot and they carve like skis that are much much narrower.
