October pow in Big Sky

OK, so there were some "sharks" lurking beneath the surface, but none big enough to drag me under :)
Above 9000ft, the snowpack is now about 2-3 feet deep.

A great day out in the mountains. Only one word to describe it ;)

Good October base setting up there Martin.

Was the Bluebird your ski buddy on this trip?

I only see one track.

Yes, just one track. I took the photo of the bird in my back yard a few months ago - it may have fallen prey to our cats since then...
We have had a week of sunshine, so the base has probably melted back quite a bit, except on north-facing slopes.
But more snow is expected for early next week :)
