Ski pants

Hey all,

I have a great pair of Patagonia Powder Bowl pants, 3 - 4 years old. I put on some weight and might need another pair of pants for this season.  I would prefer cargo style pants and not as baggy as the Pats. Any suggestions and/or experience with reasonably priced ski pants, similar to my Patagonias? Not $400+ either.

Did you tried the slim version of the patagonia powderbowl or snowshot pants? If you like the powderbowl and want something not as baggy, the "slim" versions might work well for you!

Also take a look at some of the mountain hardwear pants on STP, quite a steal for that price! and if you need a coupon for stp, let me know!

The slim PB look great. Yet, this sounds crazy, they do not come in blue, or any color, I would like to go with my Sharp Lime Spyder jacket.

Wouldn't it be easier/cheaper to loose weight?

It would probably be cheaper, but to loose weight is always super-difficult.  To lose weight would still be kinda difficult...

Of course, he didn't ask for anyone's opinion about that; he only asked for suggestions on up-sized ski pants.

Hey, L&A is correct. I should have left out my reasons for buying new pants. Anyway, I would love to fit back in these pants within 2 months. Spring and summer I walk/run for fitness. In late fall/winter, not so much due to cold weather. AND, I would like a different color pants anyway, besides the extra waist. I did see "Troubelmaker" pants from Spyder. I might look into these, depening on how breathable, not too much insulation, etc.

I just picked up a pair of patagonia mixed guide pants from their web specials page 150.00 bucks;they have a very quality look and feel to them and am looking forward to using them. They have a trim fit, i'm on the slender side, now you will have to settle for the burnt orange look but life is to short for another pair of black ski pants.......right?
