Skied the M11 last weekend in typical spring conditions, lots of slush, bumps and scraped off hardpack, and they handled it all. These skis are a ton of fun, light and lively. At 205 lbs., I felt that the 172 was the right length for me. I would say the 172 would be okay for someone of your weight, particularly if extra float for deeper snow is a consideration. They are easy to ski and not very demanding. Did not get a chance to ski the B5, I hope to do so in the next week or two. The shop owner that I know pretty well says that he has been skiing the B5 as his everyday skis for a while now, and says it is heavier and somewhat more demanding than the M11, and better suited for higher speeds. He says they tend to be somewhat heavy in the crud, so if the B5 is your choice, you may want to stick with the 162. The shop owner goes about 230 lbs., and skis the 172. I picked them up, and they sure are heavy. If I have a chance to try them, I'll let you know.
