I have a Smith Maze helmet and like it. Smith says it is their lightest, certified snow sports helmet. I don't usually like having anything on my head and am picky about ball caps. That said, this helmet is light and comfortable all day. The only thing that may be an issue is the vents. The vents on the top can't really be closed or sealed off. There is a piece of fabric inside the helmet that you can kind of cover the openings with, but in heavy snow I've noticed a few drops of water coming through. It didn't bother me because it was only a few drops of water and only when it was snowing heavily. If you ski in an area where you encounter rain more often, the vents may be an issue but my skiing is all done in Utah so that isn't really a concern for me. I can't comment on the Anon helmet but maybe someone else will.
