Would it be stupid to.....

Would it be stupid to sell my almost brand new Rossi Pursuit HP's for the Cast SI&I system? This is a serious question.

Always interesting when you invite Chaos into a discussion on this forum.

You're planning to sell your skis in order to buy bindings?  Makes sense to me.:confused

I thought it was implied that I was going to put the bindings on my other pair skis.

Probably should have mentioned that.;)

That would have been helpful.  Obviously you're not thrilled with the Rossis, correct?

No I absolutely love the Rossi's, only had 5 days on them toward the end of last season but they performed well. This decision, or decision to be, really has to do with preferences. The whole, "if you don't do it now, you'll be one year older when you do" type thing. Just don't know if it is worth it on the east coast.. Not because there is a lack of touring available, but there are obviously cycles where the Rossi's would be better suited for the conditions.

Decisions, decisions.

From another east coaster

"I sold 3 pairs of skis and put CASTs on my Worth Magics, which I use for anything everyday anyways so this will be huge for me. All I have to do is have my toe plates and skins in my pack and I'm ready for anything. No decisions to make, no gear to forget, no dialing it back and no compromise in feel and skiability."
