Camping Out - or - Intermittent Sampling ... what's your Epic style?

What's your approach to reading on Epic?

Do you spend lengthy chunks of time here?

How about once a week?  ...once a day?  ...once an hour???

Do you occasionally sneak-a-peek at work?

Is this your preferred break activity during the daylight hours?

Ever put yourself on an Epicski diet?

Is your activity here seasonal?

Seasonal. It's either ski season, in which case I only do searches for the word Whitefish, or it's not ski season, in which case I'm on a lot, getting that ski fix. There no way to keep up with things during ski season and actually do any skiing.

Seasonal: increasing as the likelihood of skiable snow approaches, waning as the season moves to a more two-wheeled mode.

yes

Am a newbie here... Still in learning mode and all articles on ski selection, boot fitting, and tuning grab my attention. Frequency could once a week to multi times a day depending on other distractions. Once here, typically only sampling. The long discourses on technique and ski selection nuances take lot of effort to wade through. One thread that did capture me for a few days was the grapper [sic].

Or as segbrown said, "yes".

My participation on here is complex formula involving "boredom factor at work", "how badly I'm jonesing for ski season" and "current snow conditions".

This usually translates to a few hours in mid-summer when I don't log on to at least see what's going on.  :D

I'm also new, I read about areas or things i'm interested in and comment on things I have experienced. Mostly I just watch the videos people have submitted, I really enjoy those.

Define "lengthy"

How about once a week?  ...once a day?  ...once an hour???

Irregular, more than once a week, less than once an hour

(during or just prior to ski season, off season, less than once a week)

Do you occasionally sneak-a-peek at work?

Yes

Is this your preferred break activity during the daylight hours?

No

Ever put yourself on an Epicski diet?

n/a

Is your activity here seasonal?

(see above)

Plai, welcome to epic and I believe you meant  Gaper not grapper and yes they are very amusing.  We were all Gapers once upon a time.   Personally my epic output hinges to the time of year and how bored I am watching TV or reading.  Many evenings I pick up the laptop and play on Epic rather than watch the boob tube.  Have met some great people thru Epic and had some really goods days skiing with the bears.  Nice to have a group of people with suck like interests.  Fun site, ionformative and useful too.

Read resort info on places I might ski, frequent off topic discussions, a lot of time reading and working on technical behind the scenes stuff.

Do you spend lengthy chunks of time here?

Frequently

How about once a week?  ...once a day?  ...once an hour??

At least twice a day, usually more

Do you occasionally sneak-a-peek at work?

I used to, now that behind the scenes software support for EpicSki is my work this is a trick question.

Is this your preferred break activity during the daylight hours?

No, but it is something I enjoy

Ever put yourself on an Epicski diet?

I did once for a month a few years ago

Is your activity here seasonal?

Yes, I am here every season
