Copper was in great shape today. Temps stayed below freezing all day. Lots of sun and very little wind. Copper Bowl was firm under the freshies, but definitely not coral reef status. All north facing sections of the mountain ranged from powder to chalk, but no icy spots. I avoided the moguls under A and Resolution (they sounded loud), but the ones under Excellerator, Sierra, and even Super Bee were skiing great.
Spring break seems to be winding down. I would think in another week the locals will have the mountain to themselves
