My solution is to make my window as tall as possible, scroll down until "more" is at the top of of the screen, bring up the smiley window an then zoom out (Cmd and the minus sign for Mac, CTRL and minus sign for PC) so the page shrinks enough to let the whole box appears on the page. However, I'd rather not have to go through all that just to put an "Huh? Whuh?" smiley in a post.
Could you please tell me your Operating System, Browser and version, and your screen resolution please. They need it to test.
Something was much better about it this morning, but the memory faded between then and now.
I think the vertical scroll bar I see on the margins of the smilies popup wasn't there before, but I couldn't swear to it.
I used OSX 10.6.8 Snow Lion until last week; now I have 10.9 Maverick, but I have the exact same issues as before. The screen resolution is on an automatic setting of "Best for display," but if I switch it to scaled it says 1680 x 1050. That's what I used before the automated option appeared, probably in Maverick. I just checked and found the same thing happens at lower resolutions. My browser is Firefox 25.0.1.
The real problem is the loss of my browser's scroll bars. Is that something in my settings, or does the scroll bar in the smilies popup override the browser's function?
(BTW, I just tried it with Chrome, and weirdly enough, all that happens if I click on "more" is the momentary appearance of a popup that says "Please Wait . . . " No smiley popup appears.
I hope that helps.
