just watched a clip on the local news of a few skiers getting some very nice knee deep powder up at Blackcomb. Was accompanied by talk about early openings but likely November as usual.

Should still be good up high tomorrow, was still snowing heavily when I headed down around 3... and I should clarify, by "bottomless", I meant bottomless facetiously as in 'there is no base layer'... snow was pretty light up there so I definitely was hitting bottom on most turns.  However, it felt like winter so just hiking around was fun.

Wow, this storm turned out to be a good one.    Looks like Loveland had over a foot!

I think we'll be seeing some skiing shortly, but forecast is for it to really warm up next week so who knows.

Well we haven't had snow yet but we had our first ski event of the season.
