Passholder Content Access Policy & EpicSki Facelift - Page 4

Np. Btw my desktop link was to the activity feed. It redirected fine when the URL changed, but not when it changed back. This might be useful info for the dev team.

Mine were all to subscriptions or searches.  I never go to the home page.

Desktop works fine so far, on phone when I used the forum bookmark I got the "too many redirect loop" error. But I typed in epicski.com manually then go to the forum it works, and that fixed the bookmark error too.

Just noticing this thread now. I have experienced the "too many redirects" problem on two different PCs today, both times with Chrome, both times running Windows 7. Clearing the cache seems to fix it. (Chrome is known for aggressive caching behaviors.)

My GUESS is that when we switched from epicski.com to epicski.onthesnow.com, various devices with advanced caching algorithms, including browsers, smart proxy servers, and who knows what, "learned" that epicski.com == epicski.onthesnow.com, and started anticipating the redirect. So then, today, when epicski.onthesnow.com put in a redirect to epicski.com, a redirect loop was effectively created. Browser requests epicski.com, smart cache directs to epicski.onthesnow.com, which redirects to epicski.com, which redirects ... etc.

In my case the iPhone worked fine, but laptop had issues. I couldn't hit the homepage, but as soon as I went directly to a thread it resolved itself. Not sure the exact cause as a DNS Flush and browser reboot didn't fix it, but it's working now. If anyone has further issues please let me know.

Let me just say how happy I am to have the old domain name back.

I'm not holding my breath on the logo, though.
